I create original plaster molds and hand press earthenware clay to form my pottery. I use white clay, terracotta clay, and brown clay. Each has a beauty all its own and many different finishes, glazed or unglazed.
I often spend hours finishing carving details by hand on each piece. I fire them twice and sometimes leave them unglazed. pieces can be special ordered in a variety of glaze colors or in brown clay (limited availability). every piece and every firing results in slight variations in design and in colors. please contact me with any questions or requests. I take commission work and can carve a special design you have in mind. special orders take 6-8 weeks from approval of design.
all my pieces are not frost proof. please protect them from winter weather.
